About this item
- REACHES OVER THE SEAT, NOT AROUND IT：The arm extends from 53 to 90 cm and the stem rises from 152 to 170 cm, so the shade lands above a sofa or armchair instead of standing behind it.
- DIRECTION THAT STAYS PUT：Turn the head through 350 degrees to aim light at a page, a desk or a wall, and the joint holds the angle you set.
- TWO SHADES, LAYERED LIGHT：A clear outer shade over an orange inner one softens the edge of the beam while keeping the colour of the fitting visible.
- DIMMING AND COLOUR FROM THE SEAT：The supplied 9W E27 source supports dimming, colour temperature, scene, reading and timer modes, all operated from the remote.
- A MARBLE FOOT ON A NICKEL FRAME: nickel-colour iron is weighted by a naturally veined stone base, so the lamp has presence without looking heavy. The 35 cm footprint sits in the corner of a rented flat or a small lounge, and the veined stone reads as decoration while the lamp is switched off.
- UK MAINS, ONE FOOT SWITCH: an E27 fitting, up to 40W, a foot switch, a 1.8 m cable and a UK BS plug mean the lamp is ready for a standard 220–240V socket. A replacement E27 bulb drops straight in, and the brushed nickel and stone finish suits a modern or traditional interior. Assembly required.

I wrote to Bigamart's customer support and they accompanied the process of reshipping the item until it finally arrived. I felt a genuine effort to solve the problem till it was finally solved.

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
