- ALYSSUM CARPET OF SNOW SEEDS: A compact cushion forming plant with masses of small white, fragrant flowers. A favourite for bedding schemes, containers, rockeries or as ground cover.
- SOW: February to May, FLOWERS: June to October, HEIGHT: 7.5cm, PREFERS: Full Sun, SEEDS: 1250 Approx.
- FOR INDOOR SOWING: WHEN – February to April. WHERE – In trays of seed compost. HOW - Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 10-15℃. CARE - Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in flowering position. FLOWERS – June to October.
- FOR OUTDOOR SOWING: WHEN – March to May. WHERE – In a prepared seed bed in flowering position. HOW - Sow thinly in rows 15cm apart. Cover with 0.5cm fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. CARE - When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. FLOWERS – June to October.
