- CHIONODOXA BULBS Chionodoxa, commonly called Glory of the Snow, is a lowgrowing, early Spring flowering perennial that forms natural looking clumps of starshaped blooms in shades of blue, pink, or white. Similar to bluebells and crocus, these delightful flowers are a favourite among pollinators and offer a much needed burst of colour after Winter. Plants typically reach up to 15cm in height and spread gently over time.
- HOW TO PLANT CHIONODOXA BULBS Plant Chionodoxa bulbs in Autumn before the ground freezes. Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with welldrained soil. Space the bulbs around 58cm apart and plant them at a depth roughly three times the height of the bulb. Water thoroughly after planting.
- PLANTING POSITION Chionodoxa bulbs are perfect for rockeries, borders, lawn edges, and patio containers. Theyโre also excellent for planting beneath deciduous trees and shrubs where they can benefit from early Spring light before leafout. These bulbs work beautifully planted en masse and are easy to combine with other early Spring bloomers.
- EASY TO STORE If you are not ready to plant bulbs now, then store them in a cool, dry, frost free, well ventilated location. A garage, shed, loft or cupboard are ideal. Open the paper bag to allow air to circulate round but leave the bulbs in their bags until ready to plant.
