The filling is made up of glass beads between 2 layers of padded polyester. The layers are stitched in a grid pattern to create pockets which keep the glass beads in place. There are 8 loops around the border for attaching a cover (sold separately) The heavy blanket comes in 2 sizes. 6kg (13lb) -130 x 150cm or 9kg (20lb) - 150 x 200cm.
