The pond fleece is a German quality product! Proper sealing requires a good base as a matter of course. The underlying earth base is often insufficient for the purpose. We therefore recommend the use of a pond fleece to protect the pond foil from damage inflicted by the underlying earth base such as stones, tunneling by voles as well as root growth by trees and bushes. We also recommend pond foil for the optimal use of pond fleece to avoid damage to the pond foil. This may arise when using the pond for swimming or by increased water pressure on the edges of stones in the water. There are selection of strengths for use depending on the composition of the earth and the size of the pond. The protective fleece is composed of PP and PES artificial fibres and is mechanically compacted. It is rot - proof and has a high tensile strength to resist punctures and is detector certified.
