Please note this cable has a full copper core. To comply with international standards CAT5E cable should have a 100% copper core. Copper is used because it's an excellent conductor and very flexible. The problem is that the price of copper as increased very significantly in recent years. As a result many manufacturers in China are using an aluminium core and coating it in copper. Although much cheaper and lighter than copper, conductivity and flexibility are far inferior. As a result so is performance of CCA cable. Unlike the many Ethernet cables available online this has a full copper core.
