- 🟨 WINTER COOKING COLLECTION – This mix of 2 x Rosemary, 2 x Thyme and 2 x Sage Plant has be curated by our expert growers to provide herbs when cooking in the colder months. These three herbs will match the change of pallet, giving warmth and comfort through until spring next year. Growing your own herbs can be both satisfying and can offer a culinary delight which will taste better than supermarket bought herbs. Supplied as large plants ready to snip and use.
- 🟥 PEAT & PLASTIC FREE – All of our herb plants are grown peat free and have been peat free for years. Going peat-free helps to conserve peat bog habitats, saving nature and combating climate change. Your plants will arrive without any plastic packaging and without plastic plant pots. We reuse or recycle all of our growing plastic so you don’t have to. You’ll be able to plant the root ball straight into the ground without the pots blowing around your garden.
- 🟧 CARE – These are ‘easy-car’, low maintenance plants. When planting make sure the root ball is just below the surface. Once planted these ‘easy care’ plants need little maintenance. Make sure they are in well drained soil so they don’t get waterlogged. Most herbs prefer a lot of sun, 6-8 hours preferred.
- 🟪 CONTAINER PLANTING - These plants will make a fantastic container display, placed near the kitchen door for easy access and to allow the beautiful smells to waft into the kitchen while cooking. Fill with a good quality multi-purpose compost, keeping it 10cm from the top of the rim. These three plants can be planted together and will fill out well very quickly. Enjoy for cooking, medicinal use or just for their fragrance and aesthetics.
- 🐝ATTRACTIVE FOR BEES - This herb mix will provide beautiful flowers that will attract bees. They are great for all pollinators, providing food for the bees at an essential time. Complement them by planting evergreen Hellebores, Clematis, native Primrose, Heather or winter flowering Honeysuckle. Our plants come with an APHA registered plant passport, giving you confidence that our plants have been approved and are pest free.
