Product description Feeding tube 40cm long soft DEHP-Free PVC - is suitable for use in puppies & kittens. It has been designed to improve the safety of tube feeding through incompatibility with the standard luer system. All products in the range are colour-coded purple for easy identification as tube feeding devices. Numbered graduations every centimeter aid placement and monitoring. The rounded tip provides a non traumatic insertion. A suitable tube should be selected according to animal size and intended duration of use Contents: Contents of Feeding Tube Kit all items are sterile: 1 x 6 French Tube 40cm long soft DEHP-Free PVC with special connector to prevent contamination from non-feeding syringes. 2 x matching Syringes to suit tubes 1 x drawing up straw helps when filling syringes from a bottle, 1 x syringe cap for warming single syringes/storing milk The Cap and drawing up straw is useful to have as it easily draws up milk from a longer storage container where a normal syringe will not fit, we make our milk up for a 24 hour period and then store it in a tall baby bottle with bottle cap in the fridge. We can then easily get our milk out of the bottle with amount needed per feed, we then use the syringe cap when we have the required amount of milk in syringe and warm for few seconds in the syringe in a cup of hot water. We find less waste of formula this way as you should never re-warm milk it should be discarded. *The Syringes and tubes will only fit this range only and will not fit any other tube/syringe within another feeding tube range from another manufacture, It has been designed to improve the safety of enteral feeding through incompatibility with the standard luer system *All sterile items are packaged as single use items only!
