When replacing a door handle spring, the two most important things to check are a) 2 turns or 2.5 turns and b) the thickness of the spring (we define the thickness as height spring when laid flat). Most springs are held in place with a circlip that can be removed and replaced with external circlip pliers. External Circlip Pliers are available on Amazon. Please note that the handle feels loose if you insert a thinner spring than the original model. If you install a thicker spring than the original, it may be difficult to replace the locking ring, and the handle may tend to seize. Tip: when you install a new spring, a little grease will provide better wear and better movement.
