• WHAT ARE NUTRITIONAL IMBALANCES? They occur when your pet’s body has trouble absorbing vitamins and minerals from the foods they consume. Our nutrition test for dogs and cats identifies which nutrients may be out of balance, helping you make the right dietary changes.
• SIGNS OF NUTRITIONAL IMBALANCES IN PETS. Common symptoms like low energy, dull coat, itchy skin, digestive issues, and slow recovery are often underlying signs of a nutritional imbalance in the body. Testing helps know which nutrients could be contributing to these symptoms so you’re not wasting time and money guessing.
• HOW THE TEST WORKS. Our non-invasive hair analysis test uses a small fur sample to measure how well your pet’s body is managing specific key nutrients. It covers over 110 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and fatty acids commonly found in your pet’s diet. Your results will be sent to the registered email address in just 4 days after our lab has received your sample.
• WHAT RESULTS YOU’LL GET. Results are divided into four levels: No Significant Response, Mild Imbalance, Moderate Imbalance, and High Imbalance. Each level shows how your pet’s body is currently responding to specific nutrients and where extra support is needed to help restore absorption and utilization.
• HOW TO USE YOUR RESULTS. Start by addressing nutrients showing the highest imbalance. Feed a diet made from whole, non-intolerant foods. If supplements are used, choose those from natural sources like plants, herbs, or whole foods to avoid synthetic additives that can be harder for your pet’s digestive system to process.

The Pet Nutrition Test will indicate which of the key vitamins and minerals your pet's body is not absorbing properly from their food and/or supplements. Of the 110+ items, the report will not indicate a result for all of the items tested. Only those items that exceed the threshold set by the lab will be on the report. Unlike blood testing, it will not provide you with a physical measurement of the amount of nutrients in their body. Testing results take 5 days after the hair sample has been received at the processing center. Since this type of testing is energetic in nature, it will actually indicate items that your pet's body may need more before it manifests into a physical issue (hair loss, joint pain, inflammation, dry skin). This test will allow you to alter their food or supplement consumption accordingly. Inflammation can cause the cells to not absorb nutrients properly. This will then inhibit your pet's body from effectively performing certain functions. A nutrient imbalance can also occur when your pet is fed a poor quality commercial dry food. While most dog food manufacturers do a great job providing a complete and balanced diet, there are many factors that can cause your dog to still develop imbalances for certain nutrients. Most commercial pet foods are designed for the "average" pet. However, certain breeds require more nutrients than others. Certain medications can cause nutrients to metabolize faster than usual. Each pet has its own unique internal chemistry and metabolism, their own environment, and their own genetic make up. Even though pet food manufacturers may use high quality, bio-available ingredients, pets could be lacking the nutrients they need because they were not getting enough of them. If you are currently giving your pet a supplement and that item registered on your report, it can indicate that the source of the supplement is not being absorbed properly by the body.
