About this item
- Keep 40 Wicks Ready for Replacements: This pack of oil lamp wicks provides a practical supply for changing worn cords across compatible alcohol lamps and burners, helping laboratories, workshops and households keep replacements available for routine use
- Create a Bright and Stable Flame: Each alcohol lamp wick uses multiple twisted cotton strands in a round cord, supporting fuel absorption and an even burn that produces a bright, stable flame in compatible equipment during heating or lighting
- Match Compatible 8 mm Wick Holders: These round lamp wicks measure 8 mm in diameter and 15 cm long, giving you clear references for checking the holder and positioning the cord correctly before fitting it to a suitable alcohol lamp or burner
- Soak for 20 Minutes before Lighting: Prepare each alcohol burner wick by soaking it in the fuel specified for your compatible equipment for 20 minutes, allowing the cotton cord to become fully saturated before ignition for stable flame performance
- Keep a Wick Supply for Outages and Daily Use: These laboratory alcohol lamp wicks suit compatible alcohol lamps, tea or coffee burners and backup lighting during power cuts, giving users spare cords for heating, routine work and unexpected situations

The package was here in Australia from England in a few days — so quick! Something was missing and they refunded it straight away. Pretty happy with these guys.
