• 365 Transparent Island Dressing is a sterile, self adhesive, showerproof transparent film wound dressing made from a latex free, semi-permeable polyurethane film membrane which is coated with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive, with an absorbent, non-adherent wound pad. It is impermeable to liquids, bacteria, and viruses to reduce the risk of wound infection.
• Suitable for use with chronic and acute wounds with light to moderate levels of exudate. For example; superficial cuts and abrasions, clean closed post-operative wounds, donor sites and minor burns.
• To apply, cleanse the wound and ensure the surrounding skin is clean, dry and free from soaps, creams and oils. Select a dressing size large enough to provide a margin that adheres to dry healthy skin around the wound site. Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days.
• To remove 365 Film Island Dressings, gently peel and lift one corner of the dressing from the skin. Support the skin whilst peeling the dressing off by stretching horizontally (not vertically) and in the direction of hair growth. Care should be taken to avoid skin damage with repeated applications, or on patients with fragile skin.
• Precautions: Do not use if the peel pouch is opened or damaged. If the condition of the wound deteriorates, discontinue use and consult your healthcare professional.
