This 30A 12V/24V solar charge controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology to improve charge acceptance and extend the life of your battery. PWM technology can also recover some lost battery capacity. The controller comes with the full set of electronic protections such as stopping back feed of current at night, automatic cut off to prevent over-charging and deep discharge, over heating, over load, short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The LCD display of the controller shows a lot of useful information: power, voltage and current for the solar panel and battery, energy counter, temperature, load parameters etc. The unit can work with sealed, gel and flooded lead acid batteries. It has pre-set charging programmes for different battery types; battery low voltage protection can be also configured according to your needs. Load working modes can be programmed for many different applications. The controller can work with solar panels with combined power up to 480W (12V battery) / 960W (24V battery) and voltage up to 55V, though it works at maximum efficiency with solar panels with operating voltage 17V-20V (for 12V battery) / 34V-40V (for 24V battery).
