Product description 20x Wandering Pond Snails [mix size] The Wandering Pond Snail is a medium sized native pond snail. It can grow to 3.5 cm but usual size is closer to 2cm. They are excellent scavengers and will eat detritus, fish waste, dead plants, dead fish, leftover fish food, dead fish, algae and blanket weed. The BEST Algae eaters by far, the snails go around the edges of your pond/tank; they eat algae off the bottom, rocks, and sides. Wandering pond snails are also friendly to plants, meaning they will clean the stems and leaves without eating or damaging the actual plant. Indeed, they will only eat decaying plants.
