DampSolve is a unique silicone emulsion cream for injection into brickwork etc. for the control of rising dampness. DampSolve can be used in all types of masonry without the use of high pressure equipment. The cream is delivered by hand pressure only by using a 1L Cartridge Gun & Nozzle (not supplied) into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course. From here it migrates rapidly into the masonry pores where the injection cream reverts to a liquid phase and polysiloxanes are formed in situ. During the curing period a low molecular-weight silane vapour is also produced giving excellent migration through the wall. Holes should be drilled horizontally in the appropriate mortar bed. Coverage will depend on the wall thickness, 1 x 1L cartridge will cover up to 11.5m on a wall thickness of 110mm, 5.62m on a wall thickness of 220mm and 2.8m on a wall thickness of 330mm. Curing of the DPC cream starts immediately with final curing taking 2-6 weeks.Cartridge Size: 1L Cartridges.
