To prevent unwanted removal of the gate, mount the top or bottom pin upside down depending on the weight distribution of the gate. Doors and gates over 7ft should be fitted with a third hinge to prevent the timber from warping.
• ✅Recommended Size: The general rule is that the hinge length should be at least one-third of the gate you’re hanging. For example, a 1000mm wide gate will need a 334mm hinge. Recommendation for gates over 2100mm a third hinge should be added.
