About this item
- Characteristics: Calluna Heathers are terrific plants for their ability to change colour all year-round and low maintenance habit. They are fairly easy to grow and drought tolerant.
- Growth & Spread: Calluna Heathers can grow to around 60cm in height with a spread of between 70-90cm.
- Period of Interest: It is recommended to plant in early Springtime for gardens or Autumn for in containers. Calluna Heathers will fully flourish through July - September.
- Plant Advice: These heathers require good drainage, so will tolerate slightly heavier soil, acid soil or alkaline soil. Water the plants once or twice a week when the soil is dry throughout the first season - this will encourage rapid and vigorous growth. Limit pruning to only trimming any faded flowers after flourishing.
