The Red Root Floater (Phyllanthus fluitans) is a tropical floating plant admired for its vibrant red roots and ease of care. Ideal for adding natural colour and shelter to aquariums, it enhances both aesthetics and habitat quality. This plant thrives without CO₂, drawing nutrients from fish waste or aquarium fertilisers. It prefers still or gently moving water and temperatures between 18–30°C (69.8–86°F). Under bright lighting, leaves develop a striking pink-red tone, while shaded areas remain a fresh green.
