Designed for maximum control and manipulation of paint, a natural-hair paintbrush like the Size 6 Decorators Flat Fitch from Clow will hold more paint than synthetic-hair paintbrushes, allowing the ability to apply paint more evenly, with more control and with longer strokes. Made from pure hogs hair bristles, the outside of each hair is covered with natural scales while within are hollow areas called medullas which allows the hair to hold more moisture. The stiff bristles allow you to accommodate full-bodied paints and will retain their shape even with excessive cleaning. Fitch paint brushes are a traditional artist and touch-up painters brush suitable for detailed paintwork requiring fine edges and broad strokes. Ideal for use on light switches, window trims, coving, and edges, as well as sign painting and stencilling. Flat Fitch paintbrushes are great for edging and filling-in and are good for creating bold or broad brush strokes. Turned onto the narrow side will produce thin brush strokes for fine lines, straight edges and stripes. Brush Size: 6 Bristle Thickness: 1/4 inch (6.35mm) Visible Bristle Length: 1 3/8 inch (34.93mm)
