A 100mm (approx 4 inch) Pipe or Flue Bracket supplied with your choice of length of pre-cut and finished threaded rod. Choose 5, 10, 15 or 25 cm rod length. The very well made, rubber lined, steel pipe brackets are suitable for boiler flues, drain pipes, water pipes, ventilation pipes, etc. They are supplied as a kit with threaded rod, a suitable mounting plate, washers and screws. Basically, everything you need for the job. The pipe brackets can be used with or without the pull-off rubber liners and the dimensions are as follows With rubber liner 95 - 103mm (3.74 - 4.05 inches) Without rubber liner 99 - 107mm (3.89 - 4.21 inches) The M10 threaded rod is nicely finished at the ends for easy assembly, but can be cut if required. The pipe bracket screws have retainers to prevent loss when assembling in awkward spaces. The rubber liners are fine for very moderate heat, but should be removed if there is high heat from within the pipe or surroundings. When working with boiler flue pipes all regulations relating to gas appliances must be complied with. Extreme care must be taken not to overtighten the brackets and possibly crack the flue pipe, or to affect the safety and integrity of the flue in any way. It is important to choose the correct size. Bear in mind that using rubber liners can be a useful means of reducing pipe vibration and can provide sound reduction in some cases.
