Product description 10 x Golden Apple Snails All our snails are bred here in the UK in our dedicated snail rooms. They are PURE golden apple snails, no mixing off colours ever to make sure they have lovely deep golden yellow shells and a cream coloured foot. Pomacea Canaliculata These gloriously massive snails grow to be the size of a small apple and are a really standout member of your fish tank. They are active both day and night and have wonderfully long antennae they use to search for food. They grow rapidly and will consume just about any food matter in your tank, from left over fish food to specific snail feedstuffs. These snails will consume live plants if they are hungry. We post our snails out Monday - Thursday using Royal Mail tracked 24 - no signature is requred and the box will fit in a standard letter opening so you dont need to be in to recieve the snails. These are LIVE ANIMALS though and you should make sure someone is avaiable in good time to get them in their new home. The snails you recieve will be youngsters, about the size of a large pea/marble, they travel very well at this stage and quickly adapt to a new home. As said these are live animals NOT TOYS.
