Product benefits: Formulated to give excellent adhesion to lead flashings. Repairs, protects and decorates all lead flashings. Repairs and seals cracks, holes, leaking seams, age related damage etc. making them completely watertight. A waterproof finish that tolerates standing water that forms on flat roofs such as bay windows etc. A flexible rubberised, anti-corrosive coating with tenacious adhesion. An exterior grade coating that contains UV Resistant Pigments that ensure this product gives long-term protection and decoration of lead flashing commonly found on most house roofs, typically 5 to 7 years between maintenance coats. It has outstanding flexibility i.e. it will stretch 200% of the dry film thickness, therefore moving with the flashing on both hot and cold days without cracking. This product has good adhesion to other building materials that adjoin the lead flashing ensuring a watertight joint such as: Brick, concrete, slate, aluminium, cladding, mild and galvanised steel, painted surfaces, plastic, timber and similar building materials. This coating is extremely good in harsh environmental areas such as marine and coastline locations. Shower proof in around 2 hours, fully cured overnight. How to use: 1. Ensure the lead flashing is clean, dry and free from any residual oils. 2. Lightly rub down any adjoining glossy surfaces with 400 grit Wet & Dry to provide a key. 3. Stir the paint prior to use to ensure uniformity. 4. Spot paint any holes, cracks, seams or joints overlapping by 25mm and leave to dry. 5. On larger holes, cracks, seams and joints etc. this spot painting can be repeated 2 or 3 times ensuring that each time you overlap the previous coat by 25mm. 6. Then for r a uniform finish paint the whole surface with a good quality brush or roller. 7.
