Product Benefits... This is a Heat Resistant Tile Primer that will resist heat to 200c which is twice the boiling point of water... We have included in this listing a small picture gallery of fire surrounds that have some of these difficult surfaces for your guidance... If you have a fire surround but are unsure if you will need to prime it please send a couple of photographs and a description of what it is made of and we will come back to you with a recommendation... This listing is for: 1 x 250ml tin Heat Resistant Tile Primer + 2 x A6 Sheets of Fine Grit Wet & Dry... How to use... For the best results we recommend... 1. Lightly rub down the surface with the Wet & Dry to provide a key... 2. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust... 3. Apply the HR Primer and leave to dry for four hours... 4. Apply the first coat of our HR Wall Paint in Matt or Satin and leave to dry overnight... 5. If required apply a second coat of HR Wall Paint in Matt or Satin and leave to dry overnight... 6. The fire can be used 24 hours after applying the last coat... 7. The paint is fully cured for cleaning etc. 72 hours after applying the last coat... 8. The will be some odour when the fire is initially used but this odour is harmless and will disappear after the first couple of uses... 9. If you are unsure it would be useful to paint a small test piece in an unobtrusive area to verify that the finish is what you require prior to commencing the full project... Colour: White...
