About this item
- Perfect Planting Time: Plant your Hyacinth Delft Blue bulbs between August and December, and enjoy beautiful blooms from March to April. These bulbs grow to a height of 25cm and produce a dense spike of fragrant blue flowers surrounded by lush green foliage. Autumn planting ensures a stress-free experience for both seasoned gardeners and beginners, tailored for the UK climate.
- Simple Planting Instructions: Fill the glass with water just below the bulb, ensuring the water doesn’t touch the bulb itself. Place the glass in a cool, dark, and well-ventilated area. Once the buds reach 5cm in height (about 10-12 weeks), move the glass to a bright spot with normal room temperature. Rotate the glass occasionally to ensure even growth towards the light.
- What’s Included: Your kit includes one Hyacinth Delft Blue bulb and a glass pot. Known botanically as Hyacinthus Orientalis, the bulbs are 15/16 in size and grown from cultivated stock. As they grow, the star-shaped flowers have slightly curled petals that cluster closely around a sturdy stem.
- Transform Your Garden: Among blue hyacinths, this variety is unmatched. Its porcelain-blue, star-shaped flowers crowd the upright spike in spring, filling the air with a delightful scent. These hardy plants bloom throughout March and April, offering up to six weeks of vibrant colour and fragrance in optimal conditions. A timeless favourite for any garden!
- We've got your back! When you get these bulbs from us, they're guaranteed to arrive in primo condition. We've been in cahoots with our suppliers for years to ensure you get nothing but the best. We know the disappointment of eagerly waiting for something to bloom, only to be let down. With us, you're getting top-notch, healthy bulbs, no surprises there!
