The Mi-Heat low-voltage heating foil is ideal for the installation and retrofitting of an electric underfloor heating system in caravans, motorhomes, campers, tiny houses, boats, trucks, cars, camping vehicles, RVs, expedition vehicles, or similar vehicles. The heating film can be used for almost any project and also allows self-sufficient operation. The generated heat is directly and evenly transferred to the flooring laid on top, thus ensuring comfortably warm feet. When installing the heating foils in vehicles, the following points must be strictly observed: The heating film can be used in vehicles solely for warming the floor. To increase the indoor air temperature, an additional heat source is required (parking heaters such as Truma or Webasto). The heating film must not be laid in areas where fully lying furniture or objects with a diameter greater than 6 cm are located. The heating film can always be thermally monitored by means of a thermostat and external floor sensor. When using multiple heating foil strips, these must be connected in parallel to the thermostats. Here, the maximum switching capacity of the thermostat must be observed. Depending on the number of heating foils, there may be Additional Wago clamps required. In order to feel the heat generated, the heating film must be covered with a floor covering. For testing purposes, the heating film can also be partially covered. Do not use the palm of your hand for temperature measurement, as it has roughly the same temperature as the surface temperature of the heating foil. Use an infrared thermometer, or a thermostat with a floor sensor. The required settings can be found in the instructions of the thermostat. Depending on the current ambient temperature, a lead time of up to 60 minutes must be planned.
