Depending on your socket or manual ratchet wrench size, connect it directly to the 1/2" drive or attach the included 1/4" or 3/8" adapter first. Select Unit and Mode: Press the "U/S" button to seamlessly toggle between kgf·cm, N·m, lbf·ft, and lbf·in. Next, press the "M" button to select your desired measurement mode (the "Preset Mode" is highly recommended for everyday precision fastening). Set Target Torque: In Preset Mode, use the "∧" and "∨" buttons on the right side of the screen (short press or long press) to adjust the target torque value to your required specification. The value can be adjusted with a precise minimum increment of 0.1. Apply Force and Stop upon Alert: Hold your manual wrench and apply force smoothly. When the applied torque reaches 80% of your preset value, the red LED warning light will flash accompanied by an intermittent buzzer. Once 100% of the preset value is reached, the red light will remain steadily lit and the buzzer will sound continuously—stop applying force immediately to finish the fastening job. Important Precautions: Never Overload: The final applied torque must never exceed the maximum range of the gauge (340.0). Exceeding this limit will cause irreversible, permanent damage to the high-precision internal sensor. Apply Force Smoothly: Always apply force at a steady, even pace. Do not jerk, yank, or apply sudden impact forces to the wrench, as this can cause reading lags or damage internal components. Handle with Care: This is a high-precision electronic measuring instrument, not a standard striking tool. After use, always store it safely in the provided hard storage case to prevent damage from drops, moisture, or exposure to strong magnetic fields. Battery Maintenance: When the battery icon in the top right corner shows low power, replace the batteries immediately to maintain the ±2% measurement accuracy.
