Honeywell Maxon flame rod, for use with a wide range of industrial gas burners, 7.125 inch long flame detection rod (from the end of threads), with an overall length of 10 inches. The flame rod, features ceramic insulation and can be cut to suit your specific application, secured in place with a ¼ inch thread. Gas burners that can accept this flame rod include, Honey Maxon SN & SNF Sealed Nozzle Burners, APX Burners, WIDE-Range Burners and 66 AIRFLO Burners, refer to the datasheet for specific details. Flame rods are used in conjunction with a spark ignitor. MAXON ignitors and flame rods are engineered specifically to help you manage and control your burner products. The high-quality construction provides maximum service life and dependable operation to keep your heating processes running smoothly. Flame rods will work properly only if you maintain a predetermined ratio of rod surface area to burner grounding area in contact with the flame.
